Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JobOrbit ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, job seekers, employers, and users of the service.

Use of the Platform

You agree to use JobOrbit only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems
  • Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to collect data without our express written permission
  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

Job Postings

Employers and individuals who submit job listings to JobOrbit agree that:

  • All job information provided is accurate, current, and not misleading
  • The listing relates to a genuine employment opportunity
  • They have authority to post the listing on behalf of the employing organisation
  • Listings will not discriminate unlawfully based on any protected characteristic
  • Contact details provided are legitimate and will be monitored
JobOrbit reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any job listing at our sole discretion without notice.

Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on JobOrbit:

  • Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive job advertisements
  • Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, or commission-only roles without proper disclosure
  • Adult, explicit, or age-restricted content
  • Listings that require upfront payment from job seekers
  • Any content that violates intellectual property rights
  • Spam, duplicate listings, or content intended to manipulate search results

Intellectual Property

All content on JobOrbit — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is the property of JobOrbit or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By submitting job listings or other content to JobOrbit, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the operation of the Platform.

Disclaimers

JobOrbit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of job listings, the suitability of any employer or job seeker, or uninterrupted operation of the Platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobOrbit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobOrbit, its operators, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to JobOrbit at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Platform.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where JobOrbit operates.
