- Employer account data: When you register an employer account, we collect your company name, contact person name, email address, password (stored securely as a hash — we never see or store your actual password), and any details you provide such as phone/WhatsApp number, business address, Google Maps location link, Commercial Registration (CR) number, website, sector, city, and company description.
- Account verification data: We record whether your email address has been verified and process your account through a manual review before approval.
- Job application data: When job seekers apply through the platform, we collect the information they submit, which may include name, contact details, nationality, iqama/residency details, certifications, experience, and CV files. This information is shared with the employer whose job they applied to.
- Feedback and contact submissions: Name, email address, and message content when you use our feedback form.
- Job listing data: Job title, company, location, description, and contact details provided by employers.
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, browser type, device type, IP address, and referring URLs.
- Cookies and local storage: Theme preference, session identifiers, saved-job bookmarks (stored on your device), and analytics identifiers.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create, review, and manage employer accounts, including our manual approval process
- Publish and manage job listings on the platform and distribute them through our channels, including our WhatsApp job channel
- Deliver job applications and candidate information to the relevant employer
- Verify email addresses and send account-related notifications (approval status, password reset)
- Respond to your inquiries and provide support
- Monitor and analyse usage trends to improve the service
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fake listings, and fraud
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and improve your experience:
- Essential cookies: Required for the site to function correctly (e.g. employer and admin session cookies).

- WhatsApp: When you click a WhatsApp contact button or follow our WhatsApp job channel, you are using WhatsApp and their privacy policy applies. Job listings we publish to our channel contain job details only — we strip personal phone numbers and emails from descriptions before sharing.

Advertising (Google AdSense)
JobOrbit may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction — including hashed password storage, session-based authentication, and server-side input validation. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain employer account data for as long as the account remains active. If an employer account is deleted — by request or by us — the account record is removed and its job listings are closed. Job application data is retained while the related employer account exists, so employers can manage their hiring records. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access the personal data we hold about you
- Right to request correction of inaccurate data (employers can edit most details directly from their profile page)
- Right to request deletion of your personal data, including your employer account
- Right to object to or restrict certain processing
- Right to data portability

Children's Privacy
JobOrbit is an employment platform and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of JobOrbit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
