Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations in Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and efficient management of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making through analysis, and ensuring adherence to ZATCA requirements, including VAT filing and e-invoicing. The position offers a professional environment where independence, accuracy, and organizational excellence are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations, including VAT filing and e-invoicing
• Process payroll and calculate end-of-service benefits for employees
• Monitor and reconcile receivables, payables, and bank accounts
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit cycles
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation
• Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
• Valid transferable Iqama
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting practices
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software
• In-depth understanding of Saudi tax regulations, including VAT and compliance requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in accounting within schools or educational institutions
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
