Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for projects within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement across project execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with project and client requirements.
• Lead QA/QC activities throughout engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, API, ASTM, and relevant project specifications.
• Manage quality inspections, audits, surveillance, and testing activities.
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality documentation.
• Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party inspection agencies.
• Lead and mentor QA/QC engineers and inspectors to ensure project quality objectives are achieved.
• Prepare quality reports, KPIs, and project quality performance metrics.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with HSE and quality standards.
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10+ years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, API, ASTM, and international quality standards.
Experience with EPC projects, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Professional certifications (Lead Auditor, CSWIP, NACE, API, ASQ, or equivalent) are an advantage.
