Job Overview The Civil Construction Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil construction activities related to EPC oil and gas pipeline projects. The role includes ensuring that all civil works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to support the timely execution of the project.
The ideal candidate should have 8–12 years of experience in EPC oil and gas construction projects, with preference given to candidates who have successfully worked on Saudi Aramco projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction procedures before execution.
• Ensure all civil work comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable engineering standards.
• Coordinate with pipeline, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure work is completed according to the approved schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and support quality control activities.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Resolve technical issues encountered during construction and provide engineering support.
• Review work progress, quantities, and construction reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Participate in client meetings, site inspections, and technical discussions.
• Support project commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
· Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and international engineering standards.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering software is an advantage.
· Good communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary construction environment.
Experience
· 8–12 years
of experience in civil engineering for EPC oil and gas construction projects.
· Proven experience in pipeline construction projects, including civil works for pipelines, valve stations, scraper stations, foundations, access roads, drainage systems, and related infrastructure.
· Experience working on construction sites and coordinating with multiple disciplines.
· Previous experience on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.
· Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Construction Safety Manual (CSM), and project quality requirements is an advantage.
