Accountant specializing in website management and e-marketing
Role
The accountant supports the finance team by performing financial accounting tasks (related to the marketing department). This role is crucial to ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions related to e-marketing, conducting timely comparisons, and preparing periodic reports from the system or in Excel, in accordance with the company's financial policies and Saudi regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
• Recording daily financial transactions related to the marketing department in the accounting system and posting them on the system (Onyx).
• Recording and preparing general ledger entries, journal entries, and reports. Experience in generating reports from e-commerce stores, particularly from the Salla platform.
• Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts periodically, related to marketing and stores, especially Salla.
• Assisting in processing payment and collection transactions, particularly those related to Tabby, Tamara, and other payment systems.
• Organizing, maintaining, and archiving financial documents and records daily or after each transaction. • Monitoring e-commerce stores and providing appropriate reports to the Marketing and Finance departments.
• The candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in accounting in general, and two (2) years in marketing management, e-commerce stores, and dealing with companies like Tabby, Tamara, various shipping companies, and the Salla website.
• Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and policies.
• Coordinating with other departments to gather necessary documentation.
• Performing any other tasks assigned by the Head of the Accounting Department or the Finance Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience using Onyx accounting software specifically, and other accounting software in general.
• Two to five years of documented practical experience in accounting, with particular experience in e-marketing and e-commerce stores.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with various accounting systems.
• High accuracy, a desire to learn and innovate, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
